Bonnie Prince Charlie is a 1948 British historical film depicting the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion and the role of Bonnie Prince Charlie within it. Determined to reinstate the House of Stuart in Great Britain, Prince Charles Stuart (David Niven) leaves exile in France for Scotland. With support from Scottish tribal clans and aid from Lord George Murray (Jack Hawkins), Charles builds an army.
